Project Manager / Operations Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a private sector organisation that provides an essential service to both private and public sector clients. They require a Project Manager / Operations Lead to join the organisation on a 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract.
In this role you will be responsible for implementing 2 new service driven applications. The first project will require you to not only implement the new application but to set up a new contact centre. This will involve managing all operational duties such as; staffing, IT, reporting etc. This is a significant part of the role and will require you to be very hands on.
The second will be implementing a digital application, which will involve looking at the current process and looking at the logistics of how things are operating. This will heavily involve working with staff to ensure a change management plan is in place, driving and supporting individuals to ensure a smooth transition to the new ways of working.
This role will suit an individual who has extensive Project Management experience with some experience in managing operations. You will need to be able to drive and support teams through change, whilst managing complex, cross-functional projects with an operational service delivery output. It will be advantageous if you have an understanding of call centre or customer service centre environments. Overall you will be an excellent communicator, who can work to strict timelines and wrangle very busy individuals to achieve the desired outcomes.
This role offers a 6-12 month fixed term contract with a competitive salary. There may also be the opportunity to extend this or for it to become permanent. Based in Auckland but will require some travel to Hamilton. The role does require someone to start as soon as possible.
